I decided to switch up our chicken dinners and try out these Parmesan Garlic Chicken Tenders and they quickly became one of our new favorite dinners!

This recipe is inspired by this original recipe by Cooking Classy (thanks for changing our lives!). I switched out bread crumbs for Panko for Keto and to make it gluten-free. I also found the original recipe didn’t give me enough crush mixture so I’ve adjusted that for you.

Parmesan Garlic Chicken Tenders
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs Chicken Breast
- 1 cup Panko (or bread crumbs)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Finely grated
- 3/4 tsp Dried Basil
- 1/4 tsp Dried Oregano
- 1/4 tsp Thyme
- 1/4 tsp Rosemary
- Salt and Pepper
- 6 tbsp Olive Oil divided
- 2 tbsp Minced Garlic
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place a silicon sheet on a baking sheet.
- Cut chicken breasts into 1 inch thick strips.
- In a small bowl mix together panko, parmesan, basil, oregano, thyme, and rosemary. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
- In another small bowl mix together olive oil and garlic.
- Working with one piece of chicken at a time, dip both sides in olive oil then immediately dip in panko mixtures and coat both sides.
- Place on the baking sheet and repeat with the remaining chicken pieces. Spread remaining panko mixture on chicken pieces.
- Bake in preheated over for 25 – 30 minutes until chicken pieces are golden brown.
- Remove from oven and serve with your choice of side. They are great to dip in Chick-Fil-A Sauce (which you can buy by the bottle at Walmart now!)
