Creating healthy lunches without bread isn’t always easy. Usually the go-to choice is salad, but to be honest salads aren’t my favorite. Except this market berry salad! I can eat this everyday with no complaints!

This salad is inspired by the Chick-Fil-A Market Salad and is so easy to throw together. I keep all the ingredients in my house so I can easily throw it together if I don’t have leftovers for lunch.

Market Berry Salad Ingredients
Obviously you can make this salad your own, but here’s what I typically add to my salad:
Green or Red Leaf Lettuce
Dried Cranberries
Walnut pieces
Pumpkin Seeds
Crumbled Blue Cheese
Strawberries
Chicken or chickpeas
I use a variety of lettuce from my aero garden that grow fresh lettuce in my kitchen all year long! It’s so nice to always have lettuce when I want a fresh salad without having to worry about store bought lettuce going bad before I get to it.
AeroGardens are so easy! I can’t grow a darn thing on my own, but with my AeroGarden all I have to do is refill the water and add plant food when it tells me to! It literally takes the guesswork out of everything. Plus it’s sleek and small enough to fit on my countertop.
For protein I’ll use whatever I have on hand. If we have leftover chicken from the night before or some garlic butter chicken nuggets I’ll add those in. If not I’ll grab some chickpeas to add.
I recently created the BEST homemade strawberry vinaigrette that is SO yummy. I’ll never go back to store bought. Check out the recipe here.
