We LOVE chicken nuggets!
I also love the idea of having a quick high protein snack on hand for whenever we need it.
We keep these garlic butter chicken nuggets in the freezer for a quick snack or meal.
How To Make Garlic Butter Chicken Nuggets
These chicken nuggets are so easy to make!
Start with chicken breasts and cut them into cubes. You can make them smaller for kids or a bit larger if you prefer.
Once your meat is cut put it all in a bowl.
Sprinkle some onion powder, salt, and pepper over the chicken and stir.
Heat a pan with some garlic butter and olive oil. Chef Shamy’s garlic butter is our go-to and we use it all the time. You can get it at Costco or on Amazon.
Next, add your chicken to the pan. You may have to work in layers so each piece can get golden brown. Cook on one side until it’s nice and golden brown then flip.
Right before they’re done sprinkle some Italian seasoning over them.
Eat immediately and read below on how to freeze them.
How To Freeze Homemade Chicken Nuggets
If you have any nuggets left after making them (my husband tends to eat half the batch right away lol) then you may want to freeze them!
When I make them I’ll prep a cookie sheet with a silicone mat on it and as the nuggets finish cooking I’ll add them to the cookie sheet.
Then I’ll place the cookie sheet in the freezer for 30 mins to an hour. (Well I typically forget they are in there and will come back much later lol).
After they are frozen I’ll remove them from the cookie sheet and place them in a freezer bag or glass jar.
I really like using these reusable freezer bags because I can suction out the air making the nuggets last a lot longer.

How To Reheat Chicken Nuggets
After they are frozen they’re ready to grab whenever we want!
We’ll take out a few and microwave them for 30secs to 1 min until they’re warm.
We really like to dip them in the Chick-Fil-A sauce which you can buy on Amazon now!
I’ve also been known to toss them in my Market Berry Salad when I need a quick protein.
