Disclaimers

This is a personal blog that shares my opinions about health and wellness. This blog does not reflect the opinions of any organization I may be affiliated with. The information on this site is accurate and true to the best of my knowledge at the time each blog was written. There may be omissions, errors or mistakes.

The content of this blog is informational only. I am not offering medical advice. If you rely on any info on my blog it is at your own risk.

I am not a trained medical professional, nutritionist, or trainer. Everything I share about diet and exercise are results from my own life experiences and what has worked for me and my loved ones. As always, you should consult with your doctor before making changes in your diet and exercise if you have any concerns.

I do not make any guarantees or promises throughout this blog – this is simply a compilation of what has worked for me and those close to me. Everything written is from my own mind and is subject to inaccuracies or may lack a level of completeness you may be searching for. My voice is not a professional voice and before making drastic changes in your life you should seek a medical professional.

Meal Prepping:

I meal prep each week to balance my macros and calories. I love doing this because it makes me feel in control of what I’m eating, and everything is already planned out and ready to go. I’m currently working on losing weight so I’m eating between 1500 – 1600 calories a day, with my macros being: Protein = 30-35% Carbs 35-40% Fat 25-30%. This balance is what I’ve found works best for me, but keep in mind everybody is different.I also use Plexus supplements (Read more below) that really were the missing puzzle piece in my weight loss journey. In addition to meal prepping I work to get at least 60 mins of exercise every day. On good weeks I lift weights for 30 mins and do cardio for at least 30 mins 5-6 times a week. Of course my numbers are my best estimate when it comes to meal planning, your numbers may vary based on what you’re going off of. Take these as an estimate in your own health journey and also seek medical professionals’ advice before making drastic life changes.

I reserve the right to change how I manage or run this blog and I may change the focus or content on this blog at any time.

Disclosures

I recommend my favorite products from Plexus, Amazon, Target, and other shops throughout this blog. If you purchase through the links in this blog I do receive compensation. I also receive compensation if you click on any ads found on my site. Thank you for supporting my family through the purchase of my favorite products.

Found below are specific details for products I use and recommend throughout this site as provided by the companies I am affiliated with. If you have any additional questions about the products I’ve recommend please reach out to me at simplynoelblog@gmail.com.

Plexus:

Plexus is a brand of some of my favorite health and wellness products that can be purchased online. When you click the links to these products and purchase, I make a commission which is used to support my family – so thank you!

The results of Plexus products I discuss on this blog are from my own life or from those people cited. Understand that your experience may be different.

Know that Plexus products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. The products have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.

If you’re interested in Plexus for weight loss know that participants in an independent, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, human clinical study who used one pack of Slim a day lost an average of 5.45 pounds in 8 weeks, while the placebo group lost an average of 3.12 pounds. Although this difference was not statistically significant (p=0.05), there was a trend to weight decrease with Slim group (p=0.059). Participants in an independent, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, human clinical study who used Slim twice a day and Bio Cleanse and ProBio 5 lost an average of 7.21 pounds in 8 weeks, while the placebo group only lost an average of 0.19 pounds.

Plexus helped my gut health a lot so I often talk about that in this blog. Here is what Plexus disclaims about gut health. ” The results of an in vitro human gut simulator study suggest that Slim’s formula may have several beneficial effects. Further research, including research conducted in humans, is needed to confirm these preliminary findings. ◊ The results of an in vitro human gut simulator study suggest that the polyphenol blend in XFactor Plus may have several beneficial effects. Further research, including research conducted in humans, is needed to confirm these preliminary findings. ◊ The results of an in vitro human gut simulator study suggest that VitalBiome’s formula may have several beneficial effects. Further research, including research conducted in humans, is needed to confirm these preliminary findings.”

While Plexus as a company has a program of recruiting ambassadors I do not participate in that program. I simply make a commission off of the products you purchase online just like I do with Amazon, Walmart, Target etc. I only recommend products that I use and have experience with – I won’t lie to you and recommend a product I hated. Also, you will never be “recruited” by me to sell Plexus products. If you are interested in their ambassador program I can get you in contact with someone else to assist you with that.
